We have an amazing volunteer veterans’ community here in Boothby, who provide wonderful support to men and women who have served our nation both at home and abroad. Any veterans who need assistance can visit the brand new Veterans' Wellbeing Centre at the revitalised Repat site. The Centre was made possible thanks to a $5 million commitment from the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government and is part of the $30 million program to develop a network of 6 Veteran Wellbeing Centres across Australia. Experienced Veterans’ Advocates Tich and Bill from the Plympton Veterans Centre and Graham who also represents the Adelaide Sub Branch Military Brotherhood MMC, are co-located at the Veterans’ Wellbeing Centre with Soldier On Australia, Open Arms - Veterans & Families Counselling and RSL South Australia and Northern Territory It was great to visit Tich, Bill and Graham this week, who are incredible volunteers, to see their new space, and to thank them for all they do to support our veteran service men and women.

Further support announced for South Australian businesses impacted by COVID-19! A new jointly-funded package from the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) & Steven Marshall Liberal Governments will give further financial support to local small & medium tourism & hospitality related businesses impacted by ongoing trading restrictions & border closures. The new COVID-19 Tourism and Hospitality Support Grant & COVID-19 Business Hardship Grant programs will deliver an extra $15 million in support to an estimated 3,500 local businesses. Today in Women’s Health Week Jean Hailes for Women's Health is discussing tricky periods, and what is normal and what is not normal. Abnormal periods could mean endometriosis. Since the release of the Endometriosis National Action Plan in 2018, the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government has invested over $22 million into awareness and education, clinical management and care and research. This includes Australia’s first ever clinical guidelines for endometriosis, a digital health platform for endo research and support, delivery of the Period, Pain & Endometriosis Program and research into endometriosis.
