We have an amazing volunteer veterans’ community here in Boothby, who provide wonderful support to men and women who have served our nation both at home and abroad.
Any veterans who need assistance can visit the brand new Veterans' Wellbeing Centre at the revitalised Repat site. The Centre was made possible thanks to a $5 million commitment from the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government and is part of the $30 million program to develop a network of 6 Veteran Wellbeing Centres across Australia.
Experienced Veterans’ Advocates Tich and Bill from the Plympton Veterans Centre and Graham who also represents the Adelaide Sub Branch Military Brotherhood MMC, are co-located at the Veterans’ Wellbeing Centre with Soldier On Australia, Open Arms - Veterans & Families Counselling and RSL South Australia and Northern Territory
It was great to visit Tich, Bill and Graham this week, who are incredible volunteers, to see their new space, and to thank them for all they do to support our veteran service men and women.
